Has anyone else ever heard of skin hunger?

I've really been craving touch the past couple of days - whether it's a hug, a touch on the shoulder, *something*.

And there's, like, no information out there on this at all. Not even a little blurb on webmd.com saying something like, "This is not a verified condition, but...".

I know that at least a few other people have heard of it, because sheafrotherdon is running a ficathon for it.

It is a real thing. I've felt it. (And I bet if you google it, you'll find some links.)

I have found some links on it, I just haven't really found anything that can help me treat it.

And, yes, I know getting more touch is a treatment, but it's weird figuring out how to do that.
