Jun. 10th, 2012 11:45 pmSo vacation's basically over and back to work tomorrow. It was good, drama aside.
With all the drama on Thursday, I forgot to mention my friend Kate and I went to the Brandywine Zoo earlier that day. It's really close to me and, I think because of that, I haven't been in years - I'm talking grade school. It was fun, but a lot smaller than I remembered. Granted, a) I was little last time I went and b) I'm used to going to the National Zoo in D.C., so I realize I'm spoiled in that department.
And my dad's retirement party was on Friday - which went well.
Yesterday and today have been all the normal weekend chores and such. And I did some cooking today! :-) (I've been wanting to for a while, but haven't had the chance.) I made some spaghetti sauce to freeze and tried a crustless shoefly pie recipe, but haven't actually eaten any of it yet.
