(no subject)

Today ended up being a pretty awesome day.

My grandparents came over midmorning because their power went out. (They went home tonight, but I don't think it's on yet, they do have a generator.) Had lunch with them and my dad, and had dinner with my grandparents. (It's funny - my grammy always says "I hope it tastes all right," and she's one of the best cooks.)

And I'm about two rows away from being halfway through my first Christmas present afghan.

I finished watching M.A.N.T.I.S. today. It was so cheesy, and yet so. much. fun. (And cheesy in a "Would you like some chips with your queso?" sort of way.) And I'm totally convinced that Miles and John were together, but had an open relationship and that John and Taylor were together and Miles and Leona were together. And there was a lot of giggling because it was waaay too easy to add comments like, "my boyfriend's boyfriend" and "my other boyfriend" into conversations. (Sadly, not so much "my boyfriend's girlfriend" and I never did get to use "my boyfriend's boyfriend's girlfriend".) And in my head canon, Taylor went with John to the Orient at the end of the show.

And tonight's Leverage was all sorts of awesome. I'm very close to declaring my undying love for Dean Devlin, John Rodgers, and the rest of the cast and crew. And especially Tim Hutton and Mark Sheppard for that scene near the end.

I also came across what is probably the perfect big bang for me - bigbang_mixup, in which someone makes a fanmix and then you have to write a fic to it. (And you do get art for it too, but it's all about the music.)
