Jan. 15th, 2011 10:11 pmIt's now the second intermission for the last show of the One Acts. We've had some good audiences, which is good. And we won't know which one will be representing us until after tomorrow.
All three are good, and they're quite different. One is an original work that's basically a screwball comedy. Another is an Edward Albee one act, The Zoo Story. And the third is Tennessee Williams' And Tell Sad Stories of the Death of Queens....
And Dave does a great job with Karl in the third - by the end of it, everyone hates his character (which is necessary). Gina, his wife, said, "Don't you just want to punch him or kick him?" And I said, "Well, that's kind of the point, isn't it?" And she replied, "Yeah, but I'm his wife!"
