Aug. 6th, 2010 11:59 pm5. By age, who is your youngest character? Oldest? How about “youngest” and “oldest” in terms of when you created them?
By age, the youngest is Ariel - she's a three-month-old baby in the story I'm working on now. The oldest would be Jean - a sixty-ish woman in "Gaijin".
By when I created them, the "youngest" would be Andrew Svetkey - also in the story I'm currently working on. "Oldest" would be Renee Montclair from the Somewhere, Tomorrow-inspired story I mentioned yesterday - which I wrote back in 1996.
