Mar. 7th, 2010 11:47 pmI returned home from the retreat about 2pm and wish it had been longer. :-)
All in all, it was a very good retreat and everything went very well. And any problems that we had were all very minor issues that were resolved right away. The speaker was amazing and everyone was glad to have her back. And I feel rejuvinated and confirmed about something I've been wanting to try in my faith walk, even though it had nothing to do with the theme this year.
Still amused by the non-seeming geek watching the Trivial Pursuit game randomly saying, "Kirk was an admiral." And also, there being a question about Samoa and both Bev and I at the same time saying, "Where's Jody?" (She's married to a Samoan and lived there for a few years. I guess that's what we get for being on the committee together.)
And Patch is definitely glad I'm home. My dad said she was a mess last night - she wouldn't settle down, kept looking for me, even tried to jump up on his bed - which she's never tried to do, in part because it's much taller than mine.
