Oct. 25th, 2008 11:59 pmI started working on a world-building questionaire for a story I plan on doing and it's harder than I expected. Not necessarily the questions, but just figuring out how I want things - especially since I want it to be set on an AU Earth about a century in the future. So, while some things are really different, in other ways - not so much. But I'm having fun doing it.
This afternoon, I went over to some friends' house and while I was waiting on the porch for some other friends to come inside, I decided to go meet them and slipped on the top step and took a header into one of the bushes. So, now I have a scratch on my left temple going from my glasses arm up into my hairline, and a couple of sore spots, but otherwise I'm okay. After I went home to change (because my pants got a whole lot more dirt on them than they should've), my truck wouldn't start. This has happened a couple other times recently, but I was starting to think God didn't want me hanging out with my friends or something. :-P But I finally got over there and we watched Last of the Mohicans and Sense and Sensibility and had a really good time.
