I come home from vacation and look what happens - I start posting up a storm.

I have a favor to ask of those of you who know how to make icons.

The writing group I belong to, de_writers, has decided that our LJ comm needs a userpic. We know what we want (and I can give those things to whoever does it), but are decidedly lacking in the skill (and programs) to make said icon.

Would one of you be willing to make the icon for us? We would all be very appreciative.

Today was good. Finished up my laundry and ran a bunch of errands. Stopped at WW and found I only gained .6lb in the past week and a half - which makes me happy, considering I ate pretty crappily this past week. (And now I'm starting to make plans to start cooking more and eating better.)

I also watched "The Impossible Planet" and "The Satan Pit" (2x08 and 2x09 of "Doctor Who"). They were geekily fun for me. (I always love mythology type episodes - of any sort of classical mythology - and taking on the Devil isn't something that's done very often. And I did do a fair bit of gleeful giggling at the Oods being a version of Cthulu.)

But I think my greatest accomplishment today was doing an outline for the next fic I want to write and both starting and completing it today. So, yay there. Right now, I have enough ideas to write consistently through the end of next year. Yay?

And e_dog came over and we went to Jake's for hamburgers and then watched the first two episodes of SGA's season 4. And we have plans to watch Stargate: Continuum on Tuesday.
