Jun. 15th, 2008 10:35 pmSo, I finished season one of "Torchwood" today and I have to say it was made of win. :-D "Captain Jack Harkness" was a really good episode (now that I've gotten to see it in its totality). And the last 15 minutes or so of "End of Days" from when Abydon shows up were totally made of win.

This evening was...interesting. Our pool decided to reenact the Great Flood.
I went outside around 7:30 to throw out some trash and see pools of water on three of the middle stones leading from our patio to the pool deck. Water that shouldn't be there. So I go over to check it out and there's a lot of water underneath the deck. I hurry up onto the deck to check out the pool and see if I can find the leak - which, given the amount of water, shouldn't be hard. There wasn't a hole anywhere. I'm stumped, but figured I should go turn off the pool filter, since the water level is now below the filter. I get off the deck and go around to the filter - and one of the hoses has come off and water's coming out both sides. So I turn off the filter and put the hose back on and go inside to find the duct tape (which, apparently was what had been holding it together in the first place).
