May. 17th, 2008 11:57 pmToday was fairly productive. I got the lawn mowed and did a bunch of writing.
Tonight's "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" was a lot of fun. There was only three of us (two that came and the hostess), instead of the intended six, but we had a great time hanging out and talking and laughing and just enjoying each other's company. We might even try to do it again on our own - which would be fun. And the key lime pie went over very well. Unbeknownst to me, it's my hostess' favorite type of pie. Go figure. :-P
And one of them might be joining the writing group. It came up in the course of the conversation and she was despairing how most of her friends don't get the need/desire to write, so I invited her to join us next month and she got excited about it.
So, lots of fun.
