Jul. 24th, 2006 11:32 pmWell, this week was looking like it was getting off to a good start. Until about 9 pm tonight.
The upsides so far:
- My ankle's almost completely healed, except for a light twinge when I go down steps.
- The bruise on the lower part of my 2nd and 3rd toes on the right foot is almost completely gone. (I never knew a bruise could turn so many different colors. Mine usually just go from black to yellow and then fade. This one went from black to purple to red to yellow.)
- The cut on my left foot is healing well.
- Things were starting to look like they just. might. be getting somewhere at work. (So much to do, so little time.)
- New "Kyle XY" tonight. I've fallen in love with this show and it is *so* my guilty pleasure.
The downside:
When I went for my shower, I realized that what I thought were mosquito bites, were actually hives - and nicely sized ones too. It's not as bad as the outbreak in November, but it's bad enough. The only problem is that I haven't changed anything in who knows how long.
The only things I could even remotely think of as a trigger would be that I used Neosporin + Pain Relief for, like, a day or two more than recommended, but I've used Neosporin my whole life and have never had a problem.
The only other thing I could think of was that *maybe* some of the Bath & Body Works shower gel that I've been using got into my cut and built up over the past week and there you have it. The only thing that made me think of this as a possibility was because when I broke out back in November, it was due to a White Barn candle which is a subsidiary of Bath & Body Works. So, it kind of figures that if I'm allergic to one, I just might be allergic to the other under the right circumstances - like an open wound and some time. Which sucks, since I've used their body stuff for years and I really like it and haven't had a problem aside from this.
I hate my body.
