(no subject)

I had a lot of fun with eternalmusings over the weekend. We went to the National Zoo yesterday, which I always love doing and got to see a lot of cool animals (including the elephants - which is always a must-see in my book). And as we were walking around, we talked with lunanne. And even though there were a lot of kids there, some of them were cute. One, upon not seeing a monkey - "Maybe he's not here today." Another, on seeing a displayed tracking collar for tigers - "They put collars on tigers so the dogs won't get them!"

We also watched I'm With Lucy (which I liked a lot, though someone *really* should've gone with David to the salon and made him not do it), Sliding Doors (which I still love - especially John Hannah), and some "Sentinel" eps - which appear to have hooked eternalmusings.

Still think Joss is a guh jun duh hwoon dahn (real bastard), but I do admire his genius. How many people do you know that can write and direct a movie that stays true to what the fans are used to, and expect, and at the same time give the uninitiated a crash course in Joss 101 in the same film that's just shy of 2 hours?
