1. Yay! I hit (and passed) the 30 pound mark today. (Well, this week.) I've been trying (and nagged) off and on for the past few years to lose weight and I've never been able to stay on one program for more than 2.5 weeks (let alone 11) or lose a couple of pounds (let alone 30).
2. My blood sugar dropped rapidly this morning at work. As in, feeling really sick to my stomach, nausea, and wanting to throw up. This, like, never happens. Sure, if I get really hungry, my stomach may hurt a bit, but it's nothing major. So I drank some water and had a little bit of chocolate and felt a lot better. The only reasons that I can possibly think that this would have happened are a) I ate breakfast a little earlier than normal (about an hour) because I had to drop one of my dogs off at the groomer before work and b) I decided to go to Curves before going to work, since it's in the same shopping center as the groomers and I had the time (I usually work out in the evening after work). Now, I know that my blood sugar level is supposed to drop in accordance to losing 10% of my body weight (which I achieved last week), but I didn't think it'd happen all at once! I'm sure this was probably just a freak thing, but I'm going to be careful the next few days.
3. Work's fun for the most part. You gotta love some of the titles people come up with. Like - The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse (my personal fave). And Men Are Pigs, But We Love Bacon.
4. I want to give
soft_princess her fic now, but I'm going to be good and wait until tomorrow.
