Jul. 6th, 2004 12:08 amWatched Men With Brooms and That Thing You Do! recently. Enjoyed them both immensely. Was highly amused to find that Fountains of Wayne wrote the song "That Thing You Do" and submitted it in a contest for the movie and then recorded it and because of the movie, it helped launch their career.
Saw some pretty good gay foreign films - Yossi & Jagger (in Hebrew with English subtitles) and The Man I Love (in French with English subtitles).
And here's a little math problem for you lot:
Adrian has a list of about 30 videos (movies currently out on video) she wants to see. One movie rental is $3.86. She got the Blockbuster Movie Pass, because it seemed like a good deal. If the Movie Pass is $25.48 and Adrian is able to watch all thirty movies this month, how much will she save?
