Sep. 28th, 2003 11:59 pmSpent Friday night and most of Saturday over at my Mom's. It was good. :0) We watched "Joan of Arcadia" - which I love, partly for this dialogue:
Joan (still suspicious): "So do a miracle."
God: "Look at that."
Joan: "It's a tree."
God: "I'd like to see you make one."
We also played Scrabble and Boggle and I beat my mom at both.
My mom also let me "rent" two movies (they have Comcast On Demand). I watched Till Human Voices Wake Us and The Pianist. The first was okay enough. The second...if you haven't seen it - Go! Watch! Now! It was *so* good. Even if it was about the Holocaust, it was just - wow. It *so* deserved all the awards it got. Wow. I think my brain melted. (And is it bad that I want to slash two of the characters?)
Saw The Rundown yesterday. It was actually pretty good. Lots of fun when there's more UST between the two guys than either of them and the girl. And also lot of fun that Jon Gries was Christopher Walken's 2nd in command after watching him play Broots for so long.
And new "Alias" tonight! This is going to be an interesting season. Kinda sorta wanted to slap both Vaughn and Syd, but then I got distracted by Jack.
