(no subject)

Well, the trip to Ocean City, MD, was...eventful. My mom got her car hit 3 times. The first time only scuffed up the right headlight. The second time it left some dings and some black streaks on the driver's side door. The third time my mom was driving and she back into another car - but there was no damage done. And no one was hurt any of the times (which is really good, considering I was in the car at the time the first one happened and totally not paying attention).

And my mom and I seem to have problems relating sometimes. A lot of times I'll reply slightly exasperated to something she's said and she'll take it as me giving her an attitude, which gets her upset, which then gets me defensive - and it just goes bad from there. That happened twice this weekend. And I try really hard to not do whatever it is that gets her upset, but to no avail.

The weather was cool and foggy for most of the time we were down there, so I didn't really go swimming in the ocean (but I did in the hotel's pool). And I still got sunburned. At least this way I'll tan some.

We did go to see S.W.A.T. yesterday - which was fun. Good movie. Definitely recommend it.
