V. happy because I finally finished a fic the other day - can be found here.

Went and saw TTT with Regina and Chrissie last night - much fun. Although, a bit pissed b/c Regina and I were quietly making comments throughout the whole thing and we were a tiny bit louder during the Haldir death scene (I'll give you one guess who our favorite blond elf is) and a guy two seats over from me told us to "shut the fuck up". Normally, I'd let it pass, but this is also the same guy who got up to take a phone call in the middle of the movie and we're sitting in the middle of the second row from the front and it's a crowded theatre (on campus). But aside from that, I loved the audience - like everyone clapping when Legolas swings up behind Gimli on the horse, everyone laughing when Aragorn shows up at Helm's Deep and Legolas goes "You're late". And I think there were some slashers on the other side of the audience from the evil guy, because they were snickering at basically all the same stuff Regina and I were. And I'm sorry, but the slash was canon in the LotR - or at least the S/F was. And I really need to go find the icon that says "My fandom slashes itself".

Went and saw Bringing Down the House tonight with my dad. It was a lot of fun.
