Tuesday, [livejournal.com profile] libralyte and I went down to the beach for most of the day. It was actually rather chilly on the beach, so we only spent about and hour and a half there. Afterwards, we walked around some and poked in a couple stores. She ended up getting a pound of fudge and I got a biography on Oscar Wilde. She also got a chai tea and I got a Mexican hot chocolate (hot chocolate with vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon - very yummy). After we came home, we ended up wandering over to the mall for a bit, but it was late, so we didn't stay very long. Though, I did end up using the last bit of a gift card I had and bought a copy of the Masterpiece Theatre version of Jane Eyre. And we poked our heads into a stored called Teavana, which sells all sorts of loose leaf teas as well as tea accessories, and tried the samples at the door, before we decided we better leave before they kicked us out.

Yesterday, we went back to the mall because I needed/wanted to look for a pair of new dress sandals. Thankfully, I found a nice pair on my first try and they were on sale. We also went back to Teavana. The guy that helped us out was very patient with all of our (okay, [livejournal.com profile] libralyte's) questions and very informative. (I was mostly in awe of all the tea and tea stuff.) She ended up walking out with a pound of tea and a strainer, as well as a hot chai. I got a hot Earl Grey, lightly sweetened, and it was very good. I'm definitely going back - which I guess means I gotta use up the tea I have first. Then we wandered over to Border's and had fun looking at books and things and [livejournal.com profile] libralyte found a Jane Austen tarot deck that she really liked. And I couldn't find anything that really called to me in order to use *that* gift card.

After a quick meal of take-out from California Tortilla, we, along with my friend Sharon, went to see Altar Boyz at the Playhouse (duPont Theatre - whatever). It was *so* much fun. I really think I want to see it again. Let me put it this way - it's about a Catholic boy band whose five members are named Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan, and Abraham (and, yes, he's Jewish).

Today we were going to go to the Wilmington Flower Show, but we got a later start than we had intended, so that didn't happen. But we met Beth for lunch at this little place up in Wilmington that her mom used to take Beth's great-grandmother to which had some very good food and a wide selection of very good chocolates. Afterwards, the three of us wandered around the Delaware Art Museum for a while. [livejournal.com profile] libralyte was rather bummed that their pre-Raphaelite exhibit was being renovated, but we still had a good time looking at the Howard Pyle exhibit, as well as an exhibit on cartoon artwork.

This evening, [livejournal.com profile] libralyte and I had a "picnic" of sorts (we picked up sandwiches and stuff from WaWa and then ate on my tailgate) before going to see Hot Fuzz. This was her third time seeing the movie and my first. I was a bit apprehensive, since I had enjoyed Shaun of the Dead, but I hadn't loved it. Well, I absolutely loved this movie - *so* *much* *fun*.
