Why is it that I always keep meaning to post and then never do when I mean to?

- eternalmusings, my dad, and I had a great time in D.C. We met early and ended up wandering around before the musuems opened, and so ended up coming across the Japanese-American WWII memorial quite unexpectely and it was very neat to see. The Postal Museum was pretty cool too. And we all know the Smithsonian's always cool.

- I've been knitting like crazy the past couple days because I know that I need to get the bag I'm working on done, so I can actually have something to take future knitting projects out of the house in. Plus, once I get that out of the way, I'll be able to concentrate on finishing a surprise for psubrat's Boo.

- I've also been reading a lot of fic lately.

- CANDLES! The Partylite order came in earlier this week and anaidiana was kind enough to come over last night and help me sort it out. I now have 13.5 dozen Partylite votives, 3 dozen tealights, 8 Aromamelts, a bottle of Aromasimmers (like the melts, but liquid instead of wax), 2.5 dozen Yankee Candle votives, and a three-wick that my dad picked up somewhere. I guess we're not going to have to worry about power outtages for a while. :-P

- Have the rest of you heard of Tribal Forces? It's a little slashcon in King of Prussia (Philadelphia) that's going to be April 21st - 23rd. Seems like it'll be a lot of fun and I know that there are a few people from connexions that are going to be attending.

- You all *have* to read rageprufrock's fic Bell Curve, or, Ladies Night at the Boom Boom Room (this is the whole fic in one go) and its sequel Learning Curve, or, Tab Both are just *amazing* and beautifully written. I don't care if you're into SGA or not, you don't need to know anything about the show to get the fics.

Yay for Partylite candles! I haven't bought any in a long time, but I think they're great. I love the way they melt and the scents are so yummy. :-)

Yeah, they are great. And it *so* doesn't help that one of my friends is a consultant, so I can get hooked up whenever I want.

By the way, I haven't been able to play the SGA eps that you sent me. Do you know if I have to download any codeces or anything for them? (Because that's the error message that keeps coming up.)

And don't forget to tell me what your fic requirements are, so I can write that fic in payment. And I think I'm going to be able to get season 2 from someone soon, so feel free to add stuff from that season as well. (Just mark if it's from season 2, so that way I'll know.)

They're VCDs, which means they play on your DVD player if it's the kind of player that plays VCDs. Didn't I say that in my original post about them? *Might very well not have*

No, you did say that in your post and when I was asking around about it, eternalmusings said, "Well, if you can play your Sentinel dvds, don't worry about it."

Maybe my DVD player was just being weird that day. And worse come to worse, I could always, *gasp* look at the manual. :-P
