Unofficial gym bunny update (since I'm not going to get weighed and measured at Curves for another couple of weeks because of the new date): Well, in the past three weeks with WW, I've lost 12.4 pounds (three of which were this past week).

Since this was my second biggest loss to date, I wonder if I'm going to be one of those oddballs who has to eat basically every point available to me each week in order to lose the weight on a slightly quicker timeline (but I'm sure not by much). I think I'm going to play with my point combintions over the next couple of weeks to see what happens.

My mom told me, as per usual, that I had to stick to just my daily points, but I nicely and firmly told her that I was just going to tinker with things to so that I can optimize my weight loss. (So we'll see how that goes the next time I tell her I went over my points.) Especially since I know that losing weight slowly is a good thing, but I don't want it to take *forever*. Even if I continue losing about 10 pounds a month, it'll still take me over a year to lose all the weight that I want/need to, so I'm sure that that's a relatively safe amount of time to do it in.

But my mom told me that when I reach my half-way mark, we would go to Universal Studios Theme Park for a couple days. (Begins to wonder how to fit doing this, plus seeing my maternal grandparents who live down there and maybe also [livejournal.com profile] doveslasher. Are you willing to travel, hon?)

And my mom also said that when I reach my goal weight, we'll go somewhere else. She had mentioned seeing Cirque du Soliel, since she knows I love them. And I brought up going out to L.A. for a couple of days and she said sure. So we'll see. It'll be a tough decision. :-D

So, overall, in a very good mood.

Yay you!

WW is a good programme. It's very "livable" if you know what I mean. You don't have to feel as if you are so restricted that you can't go anywhere or do anything because you have this DIET to deal with.

You wouldn't be the first one I know who had to eat every point and a few flex points in order to lose weight. Weird but true.

Yeah, I really like the flexibility that I have with it. I guess that's why I'm so willing to stick with it - I can actually eat what I want, when I want it. (Just, you know, not a lot of it.)

Well, like I said, I'll tinker with my points and see what works and maybe I will be an oddball. Won't be the first time I've been accused of that, nor the last, I'm sure. :-D

Yup. Besides it's not so bad being an oddball. . . not that *I* would know anything about being an oddball (cough cough choke).
