As much as I love having the extra days off, it's screwing up my internal clock. I keep thinking today's Sunday when it's clearly not. But it was a good day anyway.

I got caught up on "V", but I don't know if I'm going to keep up with it in the spring when it comes back. While I like the concept, it didn't really do anything for me.

I figured out what I'm going to do for my Small Fandom Big Bang ([livejournal.com profile] smallfandom_bb). Since I'm doing "Eureka" - Carter/Stark, I needed something suitably science-y, so I've been rewatching episodes and finally figured out the what and the how, now I just need to flesh out the plot and start writing. :-)

And tonight I got together with two friends and hung out and we watched the new Star Trek. It was as fun as it was the first two times and more enjoyable when you can talk all you want and make jokes. (And watching the gag reel before watching the movie makes it much funnier.)

I'm also still working my way through "FlashForward", though now I'm only two episodes behind. So far, I like what they're doing with it. And I'm interested in seeing how they deal with the whole predestination vs free will debate.

Out of the 4 eps of V, I only remembered to watch eps 2 and 3. *sigh* I liked it well enough, but had no idea what was going on (having missed the 1st ep, of course.) It was nice to see Alan. I should probably try to find DLs so I can catch up.

Would love to read Eureka fic, but I hate Stark. :\ Good luck with it though! Still trying to slowly wade through all the Big Bang fics. Yours is on the list of course. It just may take me a while. :o)

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! How's the new laptop? I just caved and ordered a new desktop from Dell. Can't wait to get it and stop being afraid my computer is going to shut off if breathed on the wrong way.

I'm sure you can find downloads somewhere. And it might even still all be on Hulu. (It seems like most shows have the last 4 or 5 episodes available anyway.) And it was good to see Alan. Sadly, we didn't get our trifecta this year of seeing him doing a show with Kelsey Grammar. :-P (Though, I just found out he did a Monty Python tribute show with Jane Leeves (Daphne) back in October. :-P)

I like Stark okay enough, but it's going to be a challenge, since I don't see anything between Carter and Stark. :-P Well, that and the science stuff should be interesting. Let's see how much handwaving I need to get through this. :-) And I'm slowly making my way through the Big Bangs too and yours is coming up. I'm having fun reading them.

I did have a good Thanksgiving and I hope you had one too. Did you have to work on Friday? The new laptop's good. :-) Still getting used to it - some of the keys are in a different spot, so I have to remember where to hit to play/pause stuff and the volume and all, and getting used to Vista's taken a bit of time. :-P But it's nice knowing I don't have to worry about anything with this one, though I'm still a bit cautious, since I had a few things happen pretty close together.
