Laptop is now back in working order. John installed the necessary drivers last night, so now my sound card works, along with things I wasn't aware of. And he also installed the driver for my internal wireless that somehow wasn't installed when it had to be fixed about a year ago.

It seems like there just might be a Leverage convention in February in Portland. If it does happen, I really want to go.

And it seems like Timothy Hutton is really behind it. Which is both cute and awesome.

I'm also watching the Emmys -- and discovering that I don't know half the shows on TV, these days... :)

Yeah, I'm not quite sure about that time of year yet either, but I'm going to see what I can do to swing it. I think I'll be able to feel better when the 'if' is taken out of the equation. :-P

You're in NJ, right? Doing a rough calculation from Trenton to Portland, 63 hours and 45 minutes. :-P So I'm assuming that anywhere in our area would be in that ballpark.

I'm aware that the shows exist and basic info, but I don't watch 99.9% of them. It's really for Neil Patrick Harris and the random celebrities I like.

Beth's totally behind the Portland con, too (and they're volunteering Christian without his knowledge;)

LOL. I haven't seen anything on her twitter about it (which is weird, since I follow her), but I'm not surprised. And I was thinking earlier today that Christian should do a show, then saw Tim's tweet about getting him to do a show. :-D

I'm starting to consider how to make this happen.

Leverage is another show I need to get into and catch up on. *sigh* So much TV, so little time.
