WW: -.2 (-45.8 total)

- At least I'm still going in the right direction. But I think a big part of it was that I wasn't carefully watching what I was eating at my church's Super Bowl party on Sunday. Just need to get my mom to calm down and realize that my body will lose the weight when it wants to and that, *no*, I am *not* trying to sabotage our eventual trip to Florida for when I hit the halfway mark. It's like, "Don't you think I really want to go too?" I'll survive.

- But the Super Bowl party was fun and I actually enjoyed the game for once. The commericals were also quite good this year, I thought. (Or, at least compared to the past few years.) If anyone's interested, the commericals can be found here. And, yes, I will admit that I started geeking out when I saw the new Batman Begins trailer. I also won the Paper Football Bowl that we had (though more through luck than skill, I think).

- My grammy's doing really well. I'm pretty sure she goes back to the doctor's tomorrow so they can see how she's doing.

- Watched Dodgeball over the weekend and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I do have to say that I have fallen in love with Alan Tudyk. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, since the first thing I saw him in was A Knight's Tale and at that point I was all about Heath Ledger. Then I saw him in "Firefly" and fell in love with Wash. And when I heard he was going to be in I, Robot, I was like, "Oooh, have to go see it, even if it's only going to be his voice." (I've also seen him in Ice Age and Patch Adams, but I wasn't into him then.)

- Had to go get some fillings put in my teeth today - which was an interesting experience. They probably put enough local numbers in my mouth to paralyze a horse or something. The procedure was done at 2:30 and at 7:30, my mouth was still a bit numb. There was a while there where I was glad I didn't need a drink because I don't think I could have handled a sippie cup. My jaw's still a bit sore now, but I'm sure it'll be fine in the morning.

- Have fallen in love with another book. This one is Kirith Kirin by Jim Grimsley. It's a gay fantasy novel. (Yes! They actually do exist!) I haven't gotten too far into it, but it's very good and it has shades of LotR. And I really like the slow build of the love story.

- I hope everyone had a good Shrove Tuesday(/Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras) and that you all have a good Lenten season. I didn't get any home-made doughnuts this year (my grammy usually makes them the Monday before Ash Wednesday), but I'm sure we'd all agree that I'm much happier with my grammy being healthy and here than having doughnuts.

I'm so glad your Grammy is doing well. I hope her check up was good.

I'm still so inspired by the way you are handling your weight droppage. A positive attitude is SO important.

((hugs))

From what it sounds like, it was.

Thanks. I think that the fact that I'm losing *anything* is a good thing for me after struggling for so long, so I'll take what I can get. And a positive attitude so is! (As well as a *lot* of stubborness. :-P)

Stubbornness is a GOOD thing.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

*grin*
