I'm so used to there being a plethora of fannish related things for a show, that it's odd that there's hardly anything for Smash. It's kind of fun, though. I feel like I'm actually getting in on the ground floor or something. :-)

Oh, God, there's all sorts of things! General discussion groups, artwork groups, fanfic groups to be general. Then you get into more detailed stuff like icon groups, fanfic groups for specific pairings, big bangs, LIMS contests, vids, ONTD comms, newsletters, noticeboards, wanking, flailing, all sorts of stuff.

Usually when I get into a fandom, it's about a season in, so a lot of that stuff's already set up. Or I "migrate" (so to speak) with a bunch of people and they've got it set up before I have a chance to blink. :-P

I'm sure Tom/Ellis would be fun, but I doubt it'd be a forever sort of thing.

And my head!canon has decided that Derek's bi and that he and Tom were together at one point and it was really serious, but had a *horrible* epic (think atomic bomb) break-up, and that's why they can't stand each other. (Aside from the fact that Derek's default mode is 'dick'.)

I agree! The weight comment was too personal to have just worked on a production or two (regardless of how platonically close you can get during a production). Yes, I do think he doth protest too much as well.

I'm making sure I get a front row seat to the fireworks. And bringing popcorn. :-D And I'm sure I'll be writing some too because you know they say it's a thin line between love and hate.
