There's currently two bottles of shower gel in our bathroom. One's from Bath & Bodyworks that my grammy gave me. The other is a "free sample" type "for men" that was in with a brick of Dial that my dad bought from Costco. On the back of the Bath & Bodyworks bottle is a little blurb about aromatherapy and the scents. On the back of the Dial is this:
How to use:
1. Squeeze gel onto washcloth, sponge, pouf, hands...whatever
2. Lather up
3. Rinse off

My brain's decided that it wants Castle/Esposito fic. The fandom, as far as I can figure, is pretty damn ironclad as Beckett/Castle and Ryan/Esposito. So I started complaining to [livejournal.com profile] eternalmusings about it and how you'd figure there'd still be the random one Beckett/Ryan, Beckett/Esposito, Castle/Ryan or Castle/Esposito fic out there for people to complain over that "OMG! It's the only one and it's not even that good and why aren't people writing my pairing?"

And then I started laughing because I found a Castle/Ryan fic. And it is bad!

And a few minutes, and some digging, later - I found a Castle/Esposito fic. But it looks like it's a WIP and, while the writing's better, it still needs work.

I hate that my brain continually decides to connect dots for the non-main fannish pairing.

Interesting. I do prefer Esposito to Ryan. He seems to have more personality. That said, it is hard to imagine one without the other. I don't tend to think of them in slashy ways, but they do seem pretty married.

I'm not overly fond of Beckett, so I guess this is just one show I won't be too fannish about. *g* I do see your point about minor pairings. Even SGA had it's other-than-mcshep pairings.

I don't slash Ryan/Esposito either, but I agree - they do seem like an old married couple. I could go either way on Beckett. She does have her moments, but other times I'm going, "Seriously?"

And the Castle/Esposito I found quickly went from, "eh" to *face in hands* "OMG, I thought fandom as a whole had passed this stage *years* ago." And you know me and my fannish asperations - or lack thereof - but I swear, I'm seriously considering going in and seeing how easy it would be for me to become a BNF writer. :-P
