It amuses me to say that I got "only six hours of sleep last night". Prior to last week, getting six hours of sleep was a cause for celebration. I'm still slowly working through my backlog of sleep, but it's coming along. And overall I do feel more awake and, in general, just better.

The weather's been beautiful here the past few days. The late afternoons/early evenings into the later evenings have been a nice warm, yet cool, temperature, and you can smell the honeysuckle, wild roses, and other random flowers that are still in bloom. And it's light out until almost nine - which is really nice too.

The writing group didn't really happen tonight. A friend from church who I had invited showed up on time and we hung out and talked about writing and a bunch of other things before she left after half an hour. I messed around on my laptop a bit and just as I was about to start watching a vid before packing up,

wookiemonster showed up, so we hung out and chatted for a while before heading out. It was fun, though.
