Still not working on my paper. Am now reading some email.

Quote from a list for the show "Miracles":

"A lot of the fans, of "Miracles"...I would even bet, the majority... followed David over here, as a show of support. He wrote and directed on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", since it's first season. When the fourth season of Buffy came around, Joss spun-off..."Angel" and put Dave in charge...Executive Producer...and writing and directing. The folks who work for Joss end up doing it all, learning everything. In a recent interview, he gushed about how much he loves Joss Whedon. He worked for him for about seven years. Anyone who has ever worked for Joss Whedon, gets that loyalty from us. That's what Joss and his people inspire.

"Unfortunately, "Miracles" turned out to be a great and compelling show, so probably won't last. Dave should have churned out another "Law and Order" or some new autopsy shows, or people eating bugs, while picking their lifemate from a group of people they've never met. God....I hate life in tvland, right now. Buffy is ending. Joss' "Firefly" bit the dust. "Angel" probably only has another year. We were relying on Dave to feed our "Quality" addiction, with "Miracles"...and he has, so it will probably be taken off the air. Grrrr I'm in a very bad mood, about tv." - Lee

This is bemoaning the fact that we're afraid it'll get cancelled. And very true. Why is it that creative geniuses are never understood and applauded by the majority in their lifetime?

And sorta on topic with the paper - Laurel Holloman - who played one of the leads in The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love (which was actually her first movie) - played Justine on "Angel". I thought that was kinda cool.
