The dogsitting went well. Well, really it was petsitting, since she also has two cats. It was kind of like a vacation without leaving home. I was able to get a fair amount of writing done (which makes me insanely happy considering I've basically written zilch for over a month), even if one of the fics I'm currently working on is not at all what I expected.
Though, on the other hand, I will be glad to sleep in my own bed tonight, since I haven't done it in over a week.
The Gin Game has been going quite well and I've been enjoying the whole experience. (Though, I feel kind of bad for admitting that I'm bored with the play.)
Did rent Her Minor Thing, which stars Christian Kane and Michael Weatherly. Enjoyed it immensely.
Had a really weird dream this morning before I woke up. In it, my family was quite well-to-do and larger than it really is (or maybe they were cousins or something, I just know we were related), and all the women were running around like crazy and taking measurements and stuff to get me fitted for a new swimsuit because I was going to be meeting Rodney McKay, who I was supposed to be hooking up with for whatever reason, at either a pool party or a water park - it was unclear and just that there was a lot of people. So, wearing my new swimsuit, I walked past him and he blatantly looked me over. Then I turned around and came back to him and said, "So, do you like what you see?"
Then I woke up.

Too bad you woke up before you heard his response. *g* Just out of curiosity, what was he wearing?

I'm debating which would be better - an AU kid!fic where Rodney is watching his niece and takes her to a waterpark where John is a lifeguard. Or they defeat the Wraith and after getting a chance to relax, they finish scouting the city and find an Ancient waterpark.
I'm not quite sure. Probably dark trunks and either a white tshirt, or barechested.

But I am liking your latter one. My muse and the plotbunny are sizing each other up. Will let you know the outcome.
Any chance you want to write it with me?

When you're involved with the production of a play, it's hard to keep your interest high, I've found. That's why Broadway actors tend not to stay with a production for too long. A bored actor (or other personnel) = a less-than-stellar performance all too often.
Weird dream, yes. Too bad you woke up when you did! *grin*

Well, usually I can keep my interest in the play, it's just that this one seems to be a really boring play. It's basically two people talking while playing gin rummy. The actors are quite good, it's just my opinion of the play. But I do enjoy hearing the audience's reaction to the play.
I know! I always wake up when the dreams get interesting.

*bangs head on desk* Ok so I actually ordered this off amazon cause it looked cute. Story was good - acting was mostly good - but it was just so darn slow! UGH!

And if you decide that you don't want the movie, I'll buy it off of you.

Will let you know.
