Jan. 6th, 2011 11:59 pmI hope everyone had a good Three Kings' Day/Epiphany. (Not that it's celebrated much.)
I tried to find the Straight No Chaser version of "We Three Kings", but couldn't. (I love the intro - they use the "Mission: Impossible" theme.) So, I shall leave you with this, since it is the twelfth day of Christmas.

Dec. 28th, 2010 11:16 pmI think my brain's getting a bit overloaded now with the variety of music I've been listening to the past few days. Granted, it shouldn't be hard, considering that for the past month and a half(-ish), I've been mainly listening to Christmas music (whenever the radio's on) and Common Rotation (whenever I'm on my laptop). And I've been listening to Common Rotation regularly before that too (damn my OCD-like tendencies when it comes to music!)
On the upside, I've been listening to Christian Kane's new cd in my truck the past few days and I love it. (Which shouldn't be a surprise.) Especially his cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car".
And I came across this via
spikedluv and thought you'd all enjoy it:

May. 16th, 2010 10:51 pmThe sunburn's about half to two-thirds what it was yesterday. I took two Tylenol Extra Strength last night and went to bed right after I posted, and I think that helped even though I woke up a few times during the night.
I was actually looking forward to doing some late spring cleaning/purging today, but that didn't happen. When it hurts like hell to move your arms to put a shirt on, it kills your desire to do anything more demanding. And my dad wants me to do some weeding while he's away this week for a work trip. At this point, I'm not sure when that's going to happen.
In funnier news, I found the first White Collar "macro". :-D
And I found out about this song/vid from
fandomsecrets and I've totally fallen in love with it.

Mar. 8th, 2010 11:49 pmNews from Christian Kane about his next album:
Christian and Tim are adorable. :-P
A week and a half until Con-con! I can't wait!
And I think the actors are excited too, considering Marc (the event organizer) said he had to ban Mark Sheppard from his Facebook page (though he may've just been kidding). And I can just see something like this going on:
*Tim Hutton is walking around the con unsupervised, talking with fans, having a good time, etc.*
Marc, coming up to Tim: "Tim, where's _____?"
Tim: "Who?"
Marc: "_____, your handler."
Tim: "What's a handler?"
Marc: *facepalm*

Nov. 1st, 2009 10:44 pmI had a lot of fun with
libralyte and
lixta this weekend. I arrived a bit before lunch and
libralyte and I went to an organic pizzaria called Jules that was very yummy. After a stop at the library, we hung out for a while and watched a special on Caribbean pirates.
Then the three of us got dressed up (I hadn't planned on dressing up, but out of
libralyte's wardrobe, I became an '80s mad scientist), and went out to dinner. We were going to go out for drinks afterwards, but then decided not too and instead went back to their place and watched part of Game 3 of the World Series.
Rocky Horror was a lot of fun. There were a couple instances were the cast seemed to anticipate the audience responding, but that was the one flaw. It was a good production and I think they did a good job with the casting. We felt bad for the people who had to clean the theatre afterwards. There was *so* much rice and toast littering the floor (and probably a fair bit of water too). (
libralyte found rice in her hair later, and I had some in my bra.)
This morning, she and I went out for breakfast and then to the mall so I could look at Lane Bryant for clothing ideas. (I have a gift card from Christmas and my LB closed.)
After that, I decided to come home so I could take care of a few things.

Here's a MadTV sketch
libralyte shared with me, comparing The Calling, Creed, and Pearl Jam.
