Heh. I love my flist. Every once in a while I find interesting fannish things on it (through it?).
Like someone posts a pic to a pic community and the comment conversation turns into casting the SGA characters into Rocky Horror. I think my favorite part of that is them casting Chuck as Frank - especially after meeting Campbell back in Novembver. Somehow that makes it even funnier.
And every once in a while, it brings me sad news - Andy Hallett, Lorne on 'Angel', died last night. I got to meet Andy a couple times at a few of the Buffy and Angel shindigs that they used to throw and he was always a very sweet, funny guy.
I remember the first time I met him - this was at Creep Con in Baltimore back in 2002 and (due to some craziness that my then-college roommate and I had thought up and I actually went through with, even though she wasn't there) I asked him to 'lei me' (with one of those flower leis) and he immediately replied with, "Why don't you lei me? That way you can say you lei'd Andy Hallett."
