libralyte and I had a good day today. This morning we went into town and looked around in some of the shops. (And now I have a couple of ideas for Christmas gifts, so - *shhh*.) And when we went into the local music shop, I asked if they were going to be getting in John Barrowman's new cd, they said it wasn't in their system, so I should try back in a few weeks, since it's an import. :-(

Then we stopped at the grocery store to pick up some things to make dinner - smokey pumpkin soup and beer-cheese bread. We got back to my place and realized that we didn't have enough flour for the bread, so I went back out as she started the soup. We also made a vegetable plate and pulled out some hummus and pepper jack cheese. Our friend Beth came over for dinner as well and brought a bottle of red wine, so we had our own little dinner party.

We also ended up watching Penelope - which is cute and we definitely recommend. Also recommended are Iron Man and Quantum of Solace (though

libralyte and I both liked Casino Royale better).
