I don't understand how he can do this with his body! Wow!

Jean and I watched the Tonys tonight. (Yes, I do realize they aired last weekend.) So much fun. And Neil Patrick Harris is very awesome. He should just be the default host.

Even though I have no real stake in any of the shows, I'm happy Kinky Boots won Best Musical.

Here's the number they did for the Tonys:

And here's my favorite scene from the movie:

Another clip of Adam Garcia tap dancing. It's fun to watch because he so obviously enjoys doing it. (And I have a sneaking suspicion this routine came out of at least two of them working on another routine and "swordfighting" with the canes. :-P)

Overall, I'm fairly neutral about "Glee" and One Direction. But I do really like this vid.

Jeremy Renner as the Scarecrow in a stage production of The Wizard of Oz.

I really wish that at least one local dance studio had a tap class that wasn't in conflict with my schedule. Because I really want to do it again. It looks like so much fun.

This dance is amazing! The coordination and everything that went into it - WOW!

I got [livejournal.com profile] wolfling's card in the mail and it made me laugh and grin like crazy. Will need to find something to do with the Halloween stickers.

Carson and his partner Anna doing the quickstep on last night's DWTS:

I'm surprised I didn't hear about this before.

I watched White Nights last night. It's a dance movie with Gregory Hines and Mikhail Baryshnikov. This is a clip of an awesome dance they did together. And it's interesting to see the little differences in how they execute it due to their different backgrounds.

I think my brain's getting a bit overloaded now with the variety of music I've been listening to the past few days. Granted, it shouldn't be hard, considering that for the past month and a half(-ish), I've been mainly listening to Christmas music (whenever the radio's on) and Common Rotation (whenever I'm on my laptop). And I've been listening to Common Rotation regularly before that too (damn my OCD-like tendencies when it comes to music!)

On the upside, I've been listening to Christian Kane's new cd in my truck the past few days and I love it. (Which shouldn't be a surprise.) Especially his cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car".

And I came across this via [livejournal.com profile] spikedluv and thought you'd all enjoy it:

Stuff like this makes me wish I hadn't given up tap when I was little.

I need to find a class.

In organizing my bookmarks, I found a couple of vids I've been wanting to post.

Things I'm doing when I really should be writing the last 400 words for today's quota:

Playing around on YouTube and realizing that somehow it's reassuring that regardless of the boyband, boyband dancing is tacky and amusing. Case in point - New Kids on the Block's "Step by Step" and *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye". (Sorry, [livejournal.com profile] eternalmusings, I had to do it.)
